Studios and ID Lab to deliver potent, breakthrough content and sales campaigns.&nbsp;&nbsp;About the Role&nbsp;We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning &amp; Design Associate to support our New Development team. This junior-level role is ideal for someone early in their career who has a foundational understanding of architecture, design, and market trends and is eager to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced real estate environment. You will work under the guidance of senior leadership to assist in planning, design, research, and coordination of exciting new development projects across New York City.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Assist senior team members in reviewing and organizing architectural plans and design proposals&nbsp;</li><li>Provide input on floorplan layouts to improve space functionality and appeal, under supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Annotate and update floorplans with design adjustments and layout refinements as directed&nbsp;</li><li>Track revisions and ensure design updates are accurately documented&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct research on comparable developments, market trends, and demographic data&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare summaries of research findings for internal use and client-facing materials&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with architects, project managers, and marketing teams to track design feedback and action items&nbsp;</li><li>Schedule and support planning and design meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain well-organized records of drawings, feedback notes, and consultant materials&nbsp;</li><li>Stay informed on basic NYC zoning codes, building regulations, and sustainability guidelines&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in team learning opportunities and assist with special projects as needed&nbsp;</li><li>*The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in architecture, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>13 years of experience in design, planning, or development support preferred (internships included).&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with floorplan layouts, architectural drawings, and basic spatial planning concepts.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or SketchUp.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.&nbsp;</li><li>A strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative, creative, and high-performance environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be based in NYC and able to attend in-person meetings as required.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills&nbsp;<ul><li>Effective communicator and team player&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities&nbsp;</li><li>Interest in real estate and design innovation&nbsp;</li><li>Eager to receive feedback and contribute to a growing team&nbsp;</li><li>Professionalism and discretion in working with confidential material&nbsp;</li></ul> &nbsp;
